Prelicensure Education Requirements
All applicants for a Community Association Manager’s license must complete an 18-hour prelicensure course prior to being approved to take the state exam.
Part VIII, Chapter 468, F.S. requires individuals be licensed who provide community association management services for community associations where the individual manages more than 50-units of an association or associations with a total budget(s) in excess of $100,000.00

The Application and Exam Process
The DBPR (850-487-1395) will provide you with an application to take the community association managers exam. Before you can be approved to take the exam, you must submit evidence that you have completed the 18-hour prelicensure course. After the DBPR has processed and approved your application, you will receive a notice from Assessment Systems, Inc. (the testing service) that you have been approved. You will then contact ASI as directed to be scheduled to take the exam in one of their testing centers located throughout Florida.
