In this online, 1-hour course (0609241) [1 hour BSP] you will learn about the important provisions of Florida law that protect you as a contractor, sub-contractor and even sub-sub-contractor in the event a client fails to fully pay you for your services, provided you comply with the responsibilities assigned to you under the law.

This course specifically deals with contracts for improvements to real property consisting of single or multiple family dwellings up to and including four units. The relevant law discussed throughout the course is found in Florida Statutes, Chapter 713 Liens, Part 1. Generally, known as the Construction Lien Law.
