Q&A – Meetings by Phone

Q. Is there anything in the statutes that do not allow for owners of condos to attend board meetings by phone. I know Directors can attend by phone.

A. The statute does not address telephone attendance by owners, but only provides that board members may attend by speaker telephone. If the board wants to make telephone attendance available for owners, it would not be prohibited by statute from doing so.
