Q&A – Proxies

Q. When sending out a “limited proxy” is it  always necessary to include the option of a “general proxy” too?

A. Differing opinions exist about the proxy form for condominiums.

Many in the legal profession hold the opinion that you must use the sample form published by the Division of Florida Condominiums, Timeshares and Mobile Homes. Others hold that the form is a sample only, but that an association may use any form so long as it meets the requirements of the Condominium Act.
